Project Details
Embedded sensors and LED lighting allow viewers to interact with “Light Echo,” a wall fashioned from recycled milk jugs by Department of Visualization faculty Jinsil Hwaryoung Seo, Weiling He and Morgan Jenks.
More than a static object or decoration, the installation responds to viewers’ proximity, relative distance and duration, which trigger sensors determining the color of the lights.
The interaction suggests that recycled art is truly recycled when integrated into our life.
